UPPCL 2015 AE(T) WRITTEN EXAM IS OVER !!!

Finally the UPPCL Exam concluded on 26th July 2015 with a surprising note in technical section.

  • More no.of questions from Communication Engg. and Digital Electronics
  • Less no.of questions from Signals and Systems and Control System
  • Core Electrical is also very less
So as a whole Paper was much likely difficult as the previous years paper that means-

  • 150-170 was a good attempt.
  • Expected Cut off - 115 ( +-5)
  • This is just an approximation . More clear picture will come after answer copies are published by UPPCL

Answer Sheets will be mailed to each and every candidate within 3 Days i.e. Upto 29-07-2015
Meanwhile for everyone do Sharpen your axe for the next Exam.

Some Useful Tips -

  • Practice as hard as possible from good question banks.
  • Do it regularly and improve your Speed and accuracy.
  • Give attention to GS part as it might be a Game changer for many PSU exams.
  • To improve GS just READ! READ! & READ! the notes as many times as possible as in GS a mere reading can help you find the correct answer in objectives.
  • For those who try hard in GS and still got unlucky try FRAGMENTATION Technique that means break the GS in many small micro parts.
  • For Example Break the Life Science into just Diseases or Digestive System or Nervous System & Break Polity into Lok Sabha etc...
  • And before a exam just read your fragmented part !!!
  • Above all make a habit of Reading GS on daily basis. It will be very very helpful.

Last but not the least for UPPCL 2015 AE(T) Exam

Many person who might be weak in Hindi may try the following

Vilom Shabd - Just read it

Paryayvachi Shabd - Just read it

Just give some of your preparation time to these.

Remember Speed as well as Accuracy Matters a lot in this exam So try to get maximum in the written exam.

Hindi is of 10 marks but yet it can create a big difference in the exam. Mostly the Vilom Shabd & Paryayvachi's are easy but still you have to give time in studying those.

Finally Its 26 July 2015 and 200 For Electrical Engineering (EE as well as EEE)

Strategy is very important for hitting 26 July Computer Based Test

Now as the number of vacancies are increased to 200 for EE as well as EEE, The competition will still be better than the previous

UPPCL-2013 where there are 240 Vacancies
UPPCL-2011 where there are 290 Vacancies.

So far the test is scheduled in very less time and every candidate has ample amount of time to prepare for the exam. There is also no other big exam like GATE or IES so all this will add up to make the competition more tough.

That Means CUT OFF FOR UPPCL 2015 will be slightly higher than

CUT OFF of UPPCL 2013CBT (near about)

GEN    -      105-107
OBC    -      92-95
SC/ST -       82-85

Extrapolating wrt this year keeping in mind the present scenario

CUT OFF of UPPCL 2015 CBT (just an approximation)

GEN   -      125+
OBC   -      115+
SC/ST -      105+

So the most important thing is to Score Maximum in Written because this will also matter alot in final merit list. As conventional the weightage for exam is approximately

Written   -    85%    ( Not mentioned in Advt but this is common in PSUs Selection)
Interview-    15%

So no question of attempting less despite of-

NEGATIVE MARKING of 0.25 for every wrong answer

A good score will be 135+ for booking a seat. Let us break this-

150 Technical -   Attempt Almost 130+
50 Non Tech   -   Attempt Almost  40+

DO HARD-WORK from right now.

DO Practice Previous year IES/GATE MCQ's for Practicing

DO it Regularly

DO not waste your precious time

Next Post soon for more on the topic....
