GS Prep

How to do GS preparation for PSU’s ?

Thus Smart work includes the principal of fragmentation of subjects which means you will prepare all 10 Subjects but going to divide each subject into small fragments or sub topics & preparing 80-90% of these fragments. Like for example each subject having 50 major topics or fragments . So in 10 subjects there are 500 topics, So overall you can leave 50 fragments & though you left 50 from mixed subjects still you can prepare 90% overall.

·         Doing the part generally left by others i.e GS/Aptitude/Reasoning/English. Though these may look tough initially but these are the most easy ones when you prepare them. They are like scoring subjects once you have a grip on them.

Fragmentation technique is very helpful in GS preparation.

Divide GS in following Subjects-
·         History
·         Geography
·         Polity
·         Biology
·         GK
·         Current Affairs
Then sub-divide these subjects into more fragments. For exam you can divide Biology into 6 more fragments such as-
1.       General Biology
2.       General Biotechnology
3.       Digestive System
4.       Reproductive System
5.       Respiratory System
6.       Cardiovascular system
7.       Urinary System
8.       Nervous System
9.       Diseases
10.   Environment & Ecology
So now you can prepare those topics which comes in every exam For Example 9.Diseases comes in almost every exam so you can prepare accordingly. First prepare the important fragments & than eventually you can cover the whole subject.
Similarly do not get struck in GK section rather divide it into smaller sub topics. For example- Science& Technology, International Organizations, Space Research etc. Once you are doing the fragments of big subjects into smaller one, It will be easier for you to memorize them. In this way you can prepare GS part easily.
